An Air Shower is an entry decontamination chamber that blasts high-velocity, HEPA-filtered air onto personnel before they enter a cleanroom, dislodging loose particles from clothing and skin. Interlocked door systems prevent both doors from opening simultaneously, ensuring the cleanroom remains sealed during each cycle. Venair Solutions manufactures Air Showers in SS-304/316 and GI powder-coated finishes with adjustable nozzles and programmable cycle timers, compliant with GMP and ISO 14644.
A Bio-Safety Cabinet (BSC) is an enclosed, HEPA-ventilated workspace that protects the operator, the environment, and the biological sample simultaneously. Class II Type A2 BSCs recirculate filtered air within the cabinet and are used for low-to-moderate risk agents. Class II Type B2 BSCs exhaust 100% of air outside the building and are used for volatile chemicals or higher-risk pathogens. A Mist Shower is a decontamination system that sprays a controlled fine mist of disinfectant or purified water onto personnel or equipment before they access high-risk cleanroom zones, neutralising surface contaminants at entry points. It is typically installed between a gowning room and a classified cleanroom in pharmaceutical, biotech, and food processing facilities. A Sampling and Dispensing Booth is a HEPA-filtered, contained enclosure used for the safe weighing, sampling, and dispensing of potent pharmaceutical powders and APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). It creates a negative-pressure zone that protects both the operator from airborne API exposure and the product from external contamination. An SS (Stainless Steel) Conveyor is a material transfer system that moves products continuously between processing zones inside a cleanroom without requiring personnel to carry items, reducing human entry and particle generation. Cleanroom-grade conveyors use electropolished surfaces to prevent particle shedding and are available in variable-speed and modular configurations. A Fume Hood protects laboratory personnel from hazardous chemical fumes and vapours by directing exhaust away from the operator — it does not protect the product or the environment. A Bio-Safety Cabinet (BSC) provides three-way protection: operator, product, and environment, using HEPA filtration. Use a Fume Hood for chemical work; use a BSC for biological agents. Venair Solutions manufactures both in SS-304/316 in ducted and ductless configurations, meeting GMP standards.
SS-304 is the standard choice for most pharmaceutical and food processing cleanrooms, offering good corrosion resistance at a lower cost. SS-316 is recommended for sterile injectable manufacturing, aggressive chemicals, or saline/acidic environments, as its higher molybdenum content provides superior corrosion resistance. GI powder-coated finishes are a cost-effective option for lower-criticality cleanroom zones. All finishes from Venair Solutions meet GMP compliance and ISO 14644 standards.
